General Cancellation Information

Why has the face-to-face congress been cancelled? The EVER Executive Board has considered the EVER 2020 Congress in September 2020 and has reviewed the situation with respect to all options available to us. In view of the serious international crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic the EVER Executive Board has unanimously decided to move the 2020 meeting to 2021. Will the congress be postponed to a later date? We are pleased to confirm that EVER 2021 will take place in Nice, France 30 September – 2 October 2021. Registration

What will happen to my registration fee? As consequence of the postponement of the EVER congress caused by the spread of the COVID-19, the paid registration will be automatically transferred to 2021. Transportation and Hotels

What steps should I take to get reimbursed for the costs related to my travel / accommodation? For hotel accommodation, please contact the agency or hotel to cancel your booking and check the cancellation conditions. For your airline travel, contact your airline directly and if you have taken a travel insurance, contact your provider for information about the cancellation procedure.

Science

What will happen to my science? All those having accepted a SIS/Course faculty role in EVER 2020 will be contacted by December 2020 to ask if they would like to renew the acceptance of their role for 2021. The Programme Secretary and OIC Faculty Department will be in touch with you shortly regarding the publication and presentation options for your accepted SIS/Course and abstract(s) for 2020. EVER is developing a programme of Virtual Talks to implement an EVER Library for EVER 2020 with the possibility to have a UEMS credited distance learning. Your contribution may be selected to be included in the Virtual Library. Can I withdraw my science and submit it elsewhere? Yes. Kindly notify us so we can log this information on your abstract.
